Admittedly I have a ways to go in mastering this but I like the change and excitement that adding color to my daily sketches brings!
Sometimes, if you look really close, you can discover new worlds.
An eyesore of a stump rotting next to a front door,
can be harboring a grassy knoll with curly-topped trees,
or walls of shaved chocolate and old crackly cheese.
Some new and some older I rediscovered while paging through my sketchbook.
